Cloud Player Desktop App by Amazon

Amazon has debuted a new piece of desktop software dedicated to music. The new Cloud Player is part of Amazon’s mission to bring its music service “everywhere” and is extremely focused on the music. Cloud Player already existed as a web app, but lacked some of the features that come with a dedicated desktop app.

Smart Motion Preview: Introduced by BING

Microsoft Bing today announced a new feature called Smart Motion Preview which allows you to preview a video before travelling to the site. This feature is just to ensure that you are travelling to the correct site. So you can just have a preview of first 30 seconds and then be assured that the video you are going to watch is correct and you are navigating to the correct website. With the introduction of this feature, Microsoft has tried to go one level up against election.

Disable selected features in Windows 8 with Skip Metro

Windows 8 introduces significant changes to the operating system’s platform, primarily focused towards improving its user experience on mobile devices such as tablets to better compete with other mobile operating systems. Windows 8 features a new touch user interface and shell based on Microsoft’s ”Metro” design language, featuring a new Start screen with a grid of dynamically updating tiles that represent applications.

Things like Start Screen, Start button, Hot Corners, Charms bar, and Apps Switcher work great and are essential to Windows 8 Tablets but not so much useful to a heavy desktop users whose work are mainly done through desktop programs. And if you are among those heavy desktop users and feel these new features are bothering, here is a simple way to disable them all at once.

Delete All Empty Folders and Subfolders from a directory using Right Click

Empty folders always are trouble for all of us. Especially, empty folders within an empty folders, etc. This always creates trouble for us. Many people just let it go because they just not bother about this. There are several tools like  Empty Folder Cleaner speed up the process a great deal, but their bulky interfaces and extra features can prove to be a handful for some. However, if you want to perform this operation with just a click, then you should try Sub4Del. This is a very handy application that lets you delete all the empty subfolders from a directory with just a right click.

Sub4Del simply adds another option to the Windows File Explorer context menu. Right-click a folder and you should see a new “Remove Empty Sub Folders” option (as shown in the screenshot below), clicking which will get rid of all empty folders and sub-folders within.

Hidden tricks of your Mouse’s Middle Click

Most of us use computers and all of us use mouse for our day to day purpose. But still we do not know many of the tricks that we can perform using the mouse middle click. There are quite a few handful of tips for Mouse middle click with which you can perform important tasks. Some of them are listed below:

1.Open and Close Windows while hovering over preview thumbnail : 

You can use it to close a Windows when hovering over an open preview thumbnail application on the taskbar. For instance, suppose you have two opened window, and you can close one of the windows by hovering over the preview thumbnail, and anywhere inside the preview box click middle button and you can close the application. It is much easier than trying to point your cursors to the very left of the tiny close button.

You can also open a new instance of the same application on the taskbar. For example, if you have one Firefox Browser opened, you can launch a new Firefox browser by just middle clicking the icon.

God Mode aka “Super Mode” in Windows 8

We have already heard of this name in Windows 7. This feature also existed in Windows Vista. Now, this is also present in Windows 8. MSDN refers it as Super Mode in WIndows 8 For those, who does not know about God Mode, below lies the introduction.

Most of all love Windows, but it is true that it is not all easy to find all the control panel settings and configuration Wizards. All of those settings are available; they are just difficult to put your finger on sometimes. For example, there are two control panels in Windows 8 - one is attached to the Start Screen and one is part of the Desktop environment. Of course, neither of them grants you access to all of the configuration settings you’d like to see. This is where you can employ the power of what has been named “Super mode.”

Evolution of Healthcare and its prospects

Whenever we think about healthcare, the first thing that comes to our mind is “Ayurveda”. Ayurveda focus on the forms of traditional medicine prevalent across India today. Ayurveda stresses the use of plant-based medicines and treatments. Hundreds of plant-based medicines are employed, including cardamom and cinnamon. Minerals, including sulfur, arsenic, lead, copper sulfate and gold are also consumed as prescribed. But studies on Ayurveda have revealed that it is not that safe. They cause severe lead poisoning and other toxic effects.

But the current situation of the healthcare facility in India is completely different. The evolution of technology over the period of last two decades has changed the overall situation of the healthcare situation. There was a time when people used to have less disease compared to what they have now. There was very less pollution, very less diseases. So, People were not very worried about the healthcare facilities. But, now the world has changed. People are very very much worried about their healthcare facilities. They make assure that the place they get treated are trust-able or not. Everything is taken care of nowadays such as Cleanliness, hospitality, proper medication, etc.

Recent Windows 8.1 Leak shows Metro File Explorer App with skydrive integration and other tweaks

A new build of Windows 8.1 has been seen on different file sharing networks along with some screenshots which makes us aware that we are getting some new features in the new release of Microsoft’s OS. There are not many significant changes in the Operating System, however there are some tweaks to smoothen the interface of Metro (aka Modern) style Applications.

Improved SnapView

The Verge says that Microsoft has improved even further the Snap View functionality, and now users can choose which “view an app opens into”. The new mode will only be visible when two or more apps are snapped, and the newly launched app will simply float on top the current snapped apps until you choose where you want to start the app.

Twitter to end support for IE6 and IE7

Twitter recently announced that they would no longer support Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 after seeing the current market share of these outdated browsers. As of now, we know that most of the computers have already been upgraded to the latest version of  Internet Explorer like IE1o or IE9.
