I work as a Product Development Engineer at Amadeus Software Labs India Pvt Ltd.  I was a former MSP(Microsoft Student Partner) for the last 3 years. I love working on Microsoft Technologies. My areas of interest includes Silverlight, ASP.NET, Windows Phone Application Development, Windows 8 Metro Style App Development, etc.

Being an MSP, I  got the privilege of presenting sessions on different Microsoft Technologies in different colleges of Eastern India. My session topic includes Silverlight, Windows Phone 7.5, etc. I have been organising Microsoft Dreamspark Yatra along with my fellow MSP’s for the last three years.

I have completed my B.Tech in Information Technology from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata

I have done several projects/training during my B.Tech career. Following are the briefs of the projects that I have done:
Industrial Exposure

• Successfully Completed Training at INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE, KOLKATA. The following projects was under taken under the guidance of the Project Guide Dr. Ujjwal Bhattacharya(CVPR Dept.)o Contributed to the Debugging of “Online Bengali Handwriting Recognition” improving its success rate from 72% to 80%.
• Successfully completed Summer Internship from NetGuru Ltd.,Kolkata . Worked in the development team for their HRMS software named “Proactive”.

College projects

• Successfully completed a project on a Hotel Management System

Front End: Visual Basic 6.
Back End: Microsoft Access

•  Completed my 4th Year Project “Automatic Vehicle Number Plate Detection” under the guidance of Mr. Susobhan Baidya, Assistant Professor, HITK.

Hobby projects

•  Successfully completed a hobby project as a part of a 3 member team. The project uses Windows Phone 7 (.NET CF 3.7) as the platform. The application is called “Travel-Tweet” and utilizes the power of API. The application is designed in Silverlight. Have a look at it here
